Qi35 Driver Family
The Qi35 is available in four different models: Qi35, Qi35 Max, Qi35 LS, and Qi35 Max Lite. We will discuss the similarities and differences of each model later in this article. First, let's explore the technology that will enhance distance and increase forgiveness in 2025.
Qi35 Driver
The Qi35 Driver is ideal for a wide array of golfing abilities. It delivers explosive distance and undeniable forgiveness in a package that’s pleasing to the eye and inspires confidence.
To create the ability to move weight back and forward in the clubhead, Qi35 takes on the same high inertia shape seen in Qi35 Max. By increasing the overall length of the head front-to-back by eight millimeters, the design allows for two Trajectory Adjustment System (TAS) weights. There is a 13-gram weight in the back and a 3-gram weight in the front.
The positioning of these weights and the shape of the driver combine to allow the golfer to increase the MOI of Qi35 compared to its predecessor. The TAS weights also can be positioned to optimize CG projection for shot shape and control.
Qi35 LS Driver
The Qi35 LS Driver is the lowest-spinning driver in the Qi35 family, featuring the lowest center of gravity (CG) projection. It is designed for players looking to optimize their spin and launch conditions. The driver includes one 13-gram TAS weight positioned in the back and two 3-gram weights located in the front, allowing the CG in the Qi35 LS to be fine-tuned to meet the specific needs of the golfer.
Previously, this model had a sliding weight, but the Qi35 LS utilizes TAS weights that remove discretionary weight, enabling more significant adjustments to the CG, launch conditions, and spin. By placing the 13-gram weight in the front toe position, the CG can be lowered to below zero, achieving the lowest CG projection in the entire Qi35 family. This precise weighting enhances distance and reduces spin.
Conversely, moving the 13-gram weight to the back position increases the moment of inertia (MOI) with only a slight rise in CG projection. The same weight kit, which consists of weights ranging from 3 to 15 grams, can also be used for the Qi35 LS model.
Qi35 Max
The Qi35 Max Driver, with a Moment of Inertia (MOI) of 10,000, is designed to deliver consistent performance for golfers who prioritize forgiveness without compromising on distance. This driver features a rear fixed tungsten weight within the innovative symmetric inertia generator, totaling 34 grams, all without adding to the overall headweight. As a result, the Qi35 Max is the most forgiving driver in its lineup, providing a lower center of gravity (CG) projection that enhances launch conditions and leads to increased distance.
The Qi35 Max Lite is an ultralight driver designed to help golfers achieve faster swings while maintaining a high moment of inertia (MOI). Weighing 35 grams less than the Qi35 Max, the Qi35 Max Lite is thoughtfully engineered to provide an exceptional balance of lightweight design and high MOI. This driver is perfect for golfers looking to increase their clubhead speed. Its low center of gravity (CG) promotes optimal launch angles and spin across a larger area of the clubface, allowing golfers to maximize their distance.
